Previously, Savitala worked for various professional sports organizations over a period three years, serving as a staff writer for The Oakland Raiders (NFL) official website, Oakland Raiders PR and legal intern, clubhouse manager for the San Francisco Giants (MLB) Hi-A farm team, senior ticket account executive for the AFL’s Austin Wranglers and player personnel intern for the San Jose SaberCats (AFL). On the surface, Spec Ops is but another cover shooter in the mould of Microsofts Gears of War or the Ghost Recon series by Ubisoft, but this presentation hides a much darker tale told against the backdrop of war-torn Dubai. Prior to joining the Tulsa football staff in 2013, Savitala served internships at the Tulsa County District Attorney’s Office and at the Boesche Legal Clinic, and earned his Juris Doctor from The University of Tulsa College of Law in 2011. Since 2005, Savitala has served on the convention staff during the American Football Coaches Association, supporting all areas dealing with the execution of the national convention. Before that, Savitala spent two years as a volunteer for football operations and recruiting. Previously, Savitala served as assistant director of football operations and recruiting since March 2015.
